Deepdale Design : contemporary designer makers

Designer makers Steve and Louise Hughes create unique original art and sculpture: mediums include wood, metal, leather, textiles, print and photographic imagery. With a background in product design we understand ‘the art of design’.  Our work is contemporary but also has a feel of heritage.

News

Lots of new stuff... We’ve been busy creating some new furniture pieces combining steel with sumptuously grained timber, such as Walnut and Yew.

Also some new works in leather, specifically hand made covers for ‘smart phones’ such as the ‘i phone 4’.  We hand cut, dye, stitch and mould using the cuir bouilli technique. They have a beautiful vintage feel and offer plenty of opportunity for customisation.

We usually aim to be open Thursday to Sunday, between 11.00am and 4.00pm.  Please feel free to e-mail us if you would like to visit at other times.
